In 24 hours I will be on a plane to D.C.
In 24 hours I'll meet the 30-ish people of my Peace Corps cohort, GT130.
In 24 hours I'll say goodbye to my friends, family, and colleagues.
In 24 hours I'll say 'see you soon' (never 'goodbye', I can't handle that, lol) to my best friend, my twin.
In less than 24 hours I'll be on a 27-month journey to fulfill the 3 Peace Corps Goals.
A lengthy application, a stressful medical kit, and one year has led up to this. As saccharine as it sounds, I think I'm actually ready for this whole Peace Corps adventure.
Now, if only I could get my stuff packed!
Hello! So I randomly stumbled upon your blog after repeatedly entering the phrase "Peace Corps Timeline 2013" into Google and Im so glad I found it!! You're hilarious, ur posts make me smile and as a hopeful future PCV, Im soo happy to have found someone currently just now starting their PC adventure. I usually only find blogs with volunteers who have completed their service haha.
